Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran HSVP Water Bill

Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) was founded in 1977 to simplify urban development efforts. Prior to its formation, the Urban Estates Department oversaw urban development but lacked collaboration with other departments. Several departments, including PWD, Public Health, and others, contributed to the creation of urban estates. However, the system experienced delays due to lengthy approval processes and limited financial flexibility. 

As a result, urban growth was gradual, which dissatisfied the populace. To address these challenges, the HSVP was established to independently oversee and expedite development projects. It took on the responsibility of acquiring, developing, and maintaining urban estates to meet a variety of demands, including residential, industrial, and commercial.

The Engineering Wing oversees infrastructure development by providing critical services such as roads, water supply, and sewerage. The Town Planning Wing is responsible for the long-term planning of new urban estates as well as the design of city centers, residential areas, and industrial sectors. 

The Architecture Wing is in charge of architectural design for structures as well as park and open-space landscaping. The Legal Wing handles legal concerns such as land acquisition, disposal, and court cases. The Monitoring Wing monitors the progress of development projects and conducts frequent assessments of performance data.
